Men and body hair removal…..?
as a girl i simply dislike the very basic idea of body hair removal on men…..it feels like too high maintenance guy…infact i like hair to some extent.
what do you girls of y/a think about this issue?
am i the only one who thinks this way…..and oh i am not an old lady…..am 19 btw!
No you are not the only one. One of the unfortunate side effects of the women’s movement was that the media began ever increasingly to present emasculated men as the desirable sex symbol. It was not that long ago that men who were considered the sex symbols were uncompromisingly male. Think of Tom Selleck or Burt Reynolds who were both had quite a bit of body hair and a guy named Ron Jeremy was supposed to have been a big porn star with a lot of body hair. The point is that the portrayal of men as being hairless is largely a recent thing. People’s attitudes have changed as a result of what they have been fed by the media.
Truth be told there is nothing wrong with guys looking…well, like guys! To men a person who wants a hairless man is really seeking a little boy. I would think you want a guy with lots of testosterone and the secondary sexual traits to demonstrate it. Yes, a guy (with body hair) I understand the aesthetics of too much hair near certain private areas and it can be trimmed of shaved as needed.
Listen at 19 you may be starting a new trend back to real men! Good on you!
